THERAPEUTIC INDICATION

Sondelbay® 20 micrograms/80 microliters injectable solution

It is indicated in adults, for:

Treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and in men with an increased risk of fracture. In postmenopausal women, a significant decrease in the incidence of vertebral and non-vertebral fractures has been shown, but not hip fractures.
Treatment of osteoporosis associated with sustained systemic glucocorticoid therapy in women and men with an increased risk of fracture.

The recommended dose of Sondelbay® is 20 micrograms administered once daily, with a maximum recommended duration of the treatment of 24 months.

This drug is subject to additional follow-up. Reporting suspected adverse reactions associated with this medicine is important.

Sondelbay^® is available in a pack of 1 pre-filled pen with 2.4 ml containing 600 micrograms of teriparatide (corresponding to 250 micrograms per ml).

Each pre-filled pen contains 28 doses of 20 micrograms (per 80 microlitres). No need to replace cartridges.
